When outside, I was unable to replicate crashes to determine what could have been causing it. I'm using CASM and have all of FO3's auto saves turned off so that the game only saves when CASM chooses. I've tried disabling specific major mods that are known to cause crashes in random spots, like Marts Mutant Mod (had many issues with that mod in the past), DC Interiors (honestly, this was probably never an issue, but I always linked MMM and DC Interiors together for some reason), Project Reality, I even uninstalled EVE for a bit because I thought it was causing crashes during combat (it wasn't). When it freezes, I have to log off and log back on because I can't do anything but use CTRL+ALT+DEL and select Sign Out (the computer refuses to load task manager). When I set it to anything else (even if I remove it the iNumHWThreads line), it works great outside, but freezes when I enter a small space like the Megaton Clinic, but not Megaton itself. I set the iNumHWThreads setting under "bUseThreadedAI" in the Fallout.ini file to 1 or 2, and the game is guaranteed to CTD when outside in the Wasteland in <10 minutes. So, the major issue I'm currently having is as follows: I should note before I continue: This is NOT my first rodeo with Fallout 3 and dealing with the many, many crashes, nor is it the first time I've played this game using Windows 10, though it was on a laptop previously and I had lots of issues with overheating, and a less powerful CPU/GPU setup than what my desktop has.
